The Backup Web Console (Backup Operations) has undergone some new enhancements
Here is a quick overview about the new features for the backup web console and how you can start using them now.
Creating New Users
Provision users that will login to the backup web console and manage or monitor backup accounts and data. They will have access to the Home, Storage, Transfers and Report tab. But will only see the accounts and data you have set for them.
Creating Custom Views for Users
Define a specific view for your user by assigning a particular set of accounts or brands to that user. They will then have access the all the backup metrics under those accounts, which will be displayed to them under the Home, Storage, Transfers and Report tab. You can easily adjust the view settings for users at anytime. Once a user and view has been created in the Web Console you can send them an email invitation to sign-in.
Defining Custom SMTP Email Settings
Input your own SMTP email settings, this will ensure that all of emails, alerts, and reports originating from the Web Console and delivered to your users or customers will be coming from you or your company. You can also share your SMTP settings with your users or have them user their own.
Backup Summary Reports (Digest Emails)
Create and schedule automated Backup Summary Reports emails. The reports will include important backup metrics like, current backup status, storage amounts, changed data, and last time the computer connected etc.
No Connection Emails Alerts (AWS S3 & Google Cloud Clients)

(The default No Connection threshold is 7 days, this is a customizable setting on the client INI file.) This functionality will be enabled once your SMTP settings have been provided.
No Data Email Alerts (AWS S3 & Google Cloud Clients)
