What the $3 covers

The $3 per device is the software price for that machine. Workstations and servers are the same rate. Disk image, bare-metal restore, SQL, and Exchange are already in that $3. You do not buy modules to turn those on.

Immutable storage is in the software too. That is a locked second copy on supported cloud storage (Amazon S3, Wasabi, Backblaze B2, iDrive e2). Not a paid add-on. You turn it on for a brand. The locked copy still lives in your bucket, so storage is still your bill.

On top of that, the Web Console is $30 a month under 100 devices. At 100 and up, that $30 comes off. Storage is yours. Month-to-month.

What “everything included” actually means

No asterisks. Most backup platforms advertise a low per-endpoint price, then charge extra per server for the pieces a server actually needs (image, SQL, system-state as separate modules. With us, the $3 per device rate is the full price for bare-metal / disk imaging, SQL, and Exchange. Servers cost the same as workstations because those capabilities are included.

No. Server rate is all-in. Bare-metal restore, disk imaging, SQL, and Exchange are all included in the per-device price (no booster modules, no add-on fees. Providers advertising a low per-endpoint price often bill these as separate per-server fees (for example, extra lines on the calculator), so when you compare, confirm whether image, database, and system-state backups are included or charged as extras.
